Kromco and its growers are committed to produce, pack and market quality fruit in order to be the best choice for its customers. All growers delivering fruit to Kromco are Eurepgap accredited. Kromco has a BRC Gold and NOSA accreditation and takes pride in making BRC and safety a way of living. All fruit packed at Kromco is fully traceable from the farm to the market.

The aim of Kromco Operations is to add value to every bin of orchard run fruit delivered through our gate. Whether it be in the high tech cold stores with its 24 hr online monitoring and own Nitrogen generation or in the pack house where people and machines are in a joint venture to supply consistent quality fruit and accurate packing according to the market requirements.

After fruit has been received from the orchards it is cooled and stored under strict cold chain protocols until dispatch to the markets. Kromco has a capacity to store 75% of its annual crop under controlled atmosphere and 25% under regular cooling atmosphere conditions. This not only gives the company the flexibility to service markets throughout the year, but also ensures that Kromco fruit quality always meets the highest standards. After packing, all fruit is re-cooled and stored in cold stores until it is dispatched to destinations throughout the world. Fruit sales and market placement are done in-house. Kromco fruits are exported and sold in the United Kingdom, Europe, East Asia, Africa and South Africa. The Kromco brand is well known for its quality.
